Our story
Al-Rashid Sign began in 1980 as a small workshop in Riyadh. Four decades and more than 5,000 completed projects later, we are one of the longest-established signage manufacturers in the Kingdom.
We have worked with major brands, government entities and independent businesses alike — from a single company stamp to a fully clad building facade with illuminated lettering.
Our factory
We own our production facility in Riyadh, and that is the substantive difference between us and most companies in this trade. Every stage happens in-house:
- Design — an in-house team producing 3D visuals rendered onto photographs of your actual site.
- Cutting and forming — CNC routers plus CO₂ and fibre lasers for metal, acrylic and timber.
- Welding and finishing — a full metal shop with grinding, linishing and polishing.
- Coating — an electrostatic powder coating line matching any RAL colour.
- Illumination — LED module assembly and burn-in testing before anything leaves the floor.
- Installation — our own crews, with lifting equipment and electrical connection.
Why that matters to you
When every stage is in-house, quality, price and deadline stay under our control. There is no subcontractor to blame for a delay and no apology for workmanship we did not produce. And when a sign needs servicing five years on, the people who made it are the people who come out to it.
Materials chosen for Riyadh
Riyadh is a punishing environment for signage — surface temperatures above 50°C in summer, intense UV and seasonal dust. We specify UV-stabilised cast acrylic rather than cheap extruded sheet, marine-grade aluminium and fixings, and sealed LED housings. The difference does not show in year one. It shows in year five.
Working in Arabic and English
Arabic on a sign is not a translation pasted above the English. Connected letterforms, stroke weights and diacritics need genuine typographic care, particularly in neon and fabricated 3D work. We redraw Arabic wordmarks as clean vector paths and set both scripts so they read as one designed sign rather than two languages sharing a panel.
